Dr. Steven D. Vath was selected to receive training with Dr. Grant Stevens in 2003 in one of only 15 fellowships in the United States accredited by the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons. Working with Dr. Stevens at Marina Plastic Surgery Associates in Southern California, Dr. Vath learned to perform the innovative Laser Bra surgery as well as refining his skills in other breast enhancement procedures, body contouring and facial plastic surgery.

Dr. Vath began his education at Tufts University near Boston where he received his Bachelor of Science degree. He earned his medical degree from the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School at Rutgers University. After medical school, Dr. Vath spent six years of residency and surgical research at George Washington University Medical Center. He decided to specialize in plastic surgery during this time, as he observed firsthand the dramatic impact plastic surgeons have on the well-being of their patients. Time and time again he was struck by the positive life changes patients realized through surgery and the deep appreciation they expressed in seeing their dreams come true.

To realize his goal of becoming an accomplished plastic surgeon, Dr. Vath relocated to New Orleans where he pursued plastic and reconstructive surgery training at Charity Hospital and the Louisiana State University Medical Center. After additional fellowship training with Dr. Stevens, Dr. Vath joined The Center for Cosmetic Surgery in Denver, Colorado in 2004. He now performs a variety of breast enhancement procedures for Denver patients, including Laser Bra surgery.

Dr. Vath characterizes his philosophy as one of blending proven, classic surgical procedures with state-of-the art techniques for his Denver plastic surgery patients. The result of this optimal mix is the best possible surgical outcome with a high degree of safety and a minimal amount of recovery time. He also relies on open, honest relationships based on trust and communication. His goal is to ensure patients have the information they need to make good decisions about what’s right for them.
