About the Practice
Marina Plastic Surgery Associates, founded by Dr. Grant Stevens, serves the cosmetic surgery and skin care needs of our patients from Los Angeles, across the nation, and around the world. Our office in Marina Del Rey, California is conveniently located less than 10 minutes from Los Angeles International Airport. Los Angeles plastic surgery patients are greeted by our friendly staff who is committed to making your consultation and your Laser Bra surgery as comfortable and rewarding as possible.
We Support You
We offer our patients educational films, brochures, and photos to review prior to seeing Dr. Stevens or Dr. Stoker for Laser Bra breast surgery. After talking with you and performing an examination, Dr. Stevens or Dr. Stoker will personally make recommendations to achieve your goals. Our nurses, Maria and Patrice, have been with the practice for over 30 years (combined). They will accompany the surgeons and assist in your preoperative and postoperative care. Charlie is our patient coordinator. She meets with all of our patients and 'makes it happen.' She has been Dr. Stevens' patient coordinator for over 18 years. She shares her own personal surgical experience as well as coordinating your surgery, aftercare and accommodations for our out-of-town patients and guests.
Surgery Center
Dr. Stevens and Dr. Stoker operate at the Marina Outpatient Surgery Center which is located in the UCLA Medical Building in Marina Del Rey, California. Here Dr. Stevens developed the Stevens Laser Bra as well as Beverly Hills laser-assisted breast reduction and breast enhancement. This facility is fully accredited by AAAA-SF and all anesthesiologists are certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology with training and certification in advanced cardiac life support (ACLS). Please request the name of the anesthesiologist assigned to your case to verify their board certification.
Aftercare
Aftercare is provided at one of the numerous local aftercare facilities including Serenity aftercare facility where 24 hour nursing care and all the amenities of a luxury hotel ensure that you are safe and comfortable. Our Laser Bra patients generally spend one night and are seen the next morning after breast enhancement surgery. Dressings are changed, a new bra is provided, and patients either go home or to a local hotel. Most patients take it easy for 3 to 5 days and our out-of-town guests usually are home in a week or less. There are no external stitches, so there is no need for suture removal, and unsightly cross-hatches or "Frankenstein marks" are avoided.
Follow-up Visits
Everyone is seen by Dr. Stevens or Dr. Stoker during the first week after Laser Bra breast lift surgery in Los Angeles and before returning home. They are available to all of their patients if questions or concerns should arise. Our surgeons like to see the patients one year after breast enhancement surgery and thereafter as needed. Arrangements can often be made for you to see a doctor associated with Dr. Stevens or Dr. Stoker in your own area.
